
1. The application form must be fully completed and signed. You are required to provide one passport-sized color photo with a white background, taken within the last 6 months (refer to specifications).
Your passport (and a copy) must meet the following criteria: it should be valid for at least three months beyond the requested visa period, and if multiple trips are planned, the passport must be valid for at least 90 days after the last intended trip. It must contain at least two blank pages and should have been issued within the last 10 years. Additionally, it must have a valid UAE visa, and damaged passports will not be accepted.
You must also provide a copy of your UAE Residence Visa, valid for at least 90 days beyond your intended return date. A copy of any previous Schengen, USA, or UK visa is required as well.
A No Objection Certificate from your local sponsor or employer should be provided, detailing the applicant’s name, job title, start date of employment, monthly salary, confirmation of no objection to travel to Italy, duration of leave, and the name and contact details of the managerial signatory. A copy of the signatory’s passport and UAE visa should also be included.
You should provide an employment contract or agreement and a copy of a valid trade license.
Proof of sufficient financial means for your stay must be provided, such as pay slips and bank statements from the last 3 months (foreign accounts are not accepted), credit card statements from the last 3 months, and any other documents that may help assess your financial situation in the UAE, such as additional bank accounts, properties, investments, etc. Bank statements must be on official bank letterhead, and photocopies or online statements must have the original bank stamp.
International medical insurance covering the entire duration of your stay is required, with a minimum coverage of €30,000, including full and unlimited hospitalization coverage. Emergency repatriation flights and repatriation of mortal remains must also be included, along with a detailed benefits table.
A confirmed hotel booking and a confirmed flight reservation should also be provided.

The application must be submitted no later than 15 days before your intended travel date. If submitted later, the application will be returned. The processing time may take up to 15 calendar days, starting from the next working day after the submission.
Use a light-colored plain background for the photo. It should be taken within the last 6 months. The picture must not be tilted and should be in portrait style, clearly showing both sides of the face. The photo should be a close-up of the head and top of the shoulders, with the face covering 70–80% of the image. Ensure the photo is in sharp focus and clear.
